On Sunday, the upcoming Oshi no Ko Season 2 revealed a teaser visual, a trailer, and a release date set for 2024. Both the visual and the trailer showcase the characters Aqua Hoshino, Kana Arima, and Akane Kurokawa.
The first season of the series was animated by Studio Doga Kobo (known for Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie), with Daisuke Hiramaki (from Selection Project) as the director and Saori Tachibana (involved in Wasteful Days of High School Girls) as the assistant director. Scriptwriting duties were handled by Jin Tanaka (credited in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club), while character designs were crafted by Kanna Hirayama (known for Rent-a-Girlfriend). These designs were based on the manga written by Aka Akasaka (renowned for Kaguya-sama: Love is War) with illustrations by Mengo Yokari (associated with Scum’s Wish).
