Pokemon GO Leak Reveals New Pokemon

A comprehensive Pokemon GO Leak has surfaced, revealing new Pokémon and upcoming holiday season events for the popular mobile game.

The Pokemon GO leak suggests that Minior, Cetoddle, Cetitan, Stakataka, and Blacephalon are set to make their debut in Pokémon GO during the two-month period ending in January 2024. This leak indicates that Niantic, the San Francisco-based developer, intends to substantially reduce the number of missing creatures from the game during the upcoming holiday season.

Niantic has been consistently adding new species to Pokémon GO since the game’s initial launch in the summer of 2016. The next wave of creatures is set to include 12 Gen 9 Pokémon, introduced as part of the recently announced Festival of Lights event, scheduled to take place from November 7 to November 12.

Additionally, Niantic’s game content roadmap extends into early next year, as revealed by a Discord leak discovered by Reddit user Infinite-Set-2590. The leaked plan outlines a December 5 event named “Falling Stars,” which is expected to introduce Minior to the augmented reality game. Following this, a two-part holiday event is anticipated to begin ten days later, where Niantic will supposedly introduce Cetitan and Cetoddle, a Generation 9 evolutionary line that has been absent from the game.

The first segment of the holiday event is anticipated to introduce the shiny Cryogonal, according to the same source. Cryogonal, a Generation 5 Pokémon, was initially introduced in late 2019 in Pokémon GO, but its shiny variant has not been available until now. For those currently working on the Pokémon GO level 45 challenge, it might be advisable to delay claiming the rewards. Assuming the leak holds true, starting from December 15, the Cryogonal that you encounter as part of the challenge will have a chance to be shiny.

The second part of the holiday event is expected to include a Wyrdeer Raid Day. Additionally, the leak suggests that Niantic is planning Keldeo Elite Raids throughout the final month of 2023 in Pokémon GO. Furthermore, a new Community Day is rumored to be scheduled for the two-day period ending on Saturday, December 16. Considering Niantic’s usual approach, this event is likely to feature multiple Pokémon from previous Community Days, not exclusively from 2023.

In January, a more conventional Community Day is said to be on the horizon, with Vanillite as the featured Pokémon. According to the recently surfaced leak, Niantic is also preparing to introduce Stakataka and Blacephalon to Pokémon GO as part of an Ultra Beast event slated for early 2024.
