Kick New Update Adds Major New Feature

Kick New Update responded to the community’s longstanding request by introducing a Report Button on all streams, a move that could enhance its competitive edge against Twitch. Many users have criticized Kick for its lack of moderation, making this addition all the more significant.

Founded just a year ago, Kick swiftly emerged as a prominent rival to Twitch. The platform gained substantial viewership in its initial months, with notable streamers like Adin Ross, xQc, and Amouranth joining its ranks. However, Twitch still maintains its lead in terms of viewership, prompting Kick to innovate and enhance its services.

The latest development from Kick New update support is the introduction of the eagerly awaited Report Button. This button allows users to easily report any stream that breaches the Community Guidelines established by the company. It promptly notifies moderators, who take appropriate action in response to the reports. The Report Button is conveniently located just below the Subscribe button and to the left of the viewer count. When users click on the button, they can select from ten reporting options, including categories like hate speech, bullying, nudity, terrorism, and child endangerment. Kick has also assured users that it will take action against any misuse of the button, suggesting possible penalties for those who spam reports. Furthermore, Kick new update has pledged to enhance the functionality in the near future to better serve the community.

Given Kick’s contentious history since its inception, the addition of the Report Button is a welcome update aimed at improving its reputation. Despite its rapid growth, Kick has faced criticism for associating with controversial influencers, promoting gambling in its streams, and lacking effective moderation. This marks a pivotal step towards addressing some of these concerns.

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance user experience, Kick continues to introduce valuable features. Last month, Kick new update introduced two significant updates: chat replay on VODs and clips, as well as a download button for clips. These enhancements aim to make the platform more user-friendly, as it initially launched with fewer features compared to Twitch, which has been in the market since 2011.
