The Last Of Us Part 2 Is Coming To PlayStation 5

The Last of Us Part 2 is reportedly making its way to the PlayStation 5, as indicated by a reliable data miner and leaker.

This information comes from the reputable PlayStation database dataminer, @PlayStationSize, who recently posted a somewhat cryptic tweet. Following up privately with PlayStationSize, Insider Gaming received confirmation that the tweet refers to The Last of Us Part II as a native version being added to the PlayStation database.

Upon discussions with its sources, Insider Gaming independently verified this claim.

The timing of the official announcement remains unclear, but with The Game Awards just a few weeks away on December 8, there’s a possibility that the news could be revealed soon.

Initially released on the PlayStation 4 in 2020, The Last of Us Part 2 did not have a native release on the PlayStation 5. However, the game was later made available on the PlayStation 5, enabling gameplay at 60 frames per second.

The success of The Last of Us also prompted HBO to adapt the game into a TV series, with Season 1 achieving an average of 32 million viewers per episode. The Last of Us Part 2 is scheduled to commence filming in January 2024, with a release date set for 2025.
