Spider-Man 2 Releases New Update

Insomniac Games has rolled out a fresh update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, available for download by PS5 gamers right now. In keeping with Insomniac Games’ reputation, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 made its debut in a highly polished state. However, even though Spider-Man 2 had a relatively smooth release with few glitches, it doesn’t mean that the open-world superhero game was absolutely flawless when it reached players last month.

The game community uncovered various bugs, but Insomniac has been quick to respond to fan feedback and address lingering issues. For example, there was a peculiar Spider Man 2 bug that transformed characters into white cubes. While this bug was harmless, it was undoubtedly immersion-breaking. Insomniac promptly released an update to rectify this particular problem.

The latest update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 tackles more of the game’s issues. It resolves several bugs where players or important characters could become “stuck” in different ways, such as during The Sandman side quests or the Galvanize tutorial. It also addresses other issues like Charge Jump malfunctions when assigned to a shortcut, suit errors, character models failing to load, and more.

Spider-Man 2 players can anticipate further updates for the open-world superhero game in the coming weeks and months. Beyond bug fixes, Insomniac has promised a substantial Spider-Man 2 update that will introduce New Game+ and mission replay features, enhancing the game’s replay value. The release date for this update remains uncertain but is expected to provide a significant boost to the game’s overall experience.

While some fans may eagerly await such updates, others might be more interested in paid DLC. As of now, Insomniac has not announced any DLC for Spider-Man 2, leaving room for speculation. The original Spider-Man game featured multiple DLC packs, and while it appears that many of the villains introduced in Spider-Man 2 will likely be addressed in a full-fledged sequel, the possibility of DLC featuring these characters cannot be ruled out.

However, this is merely conjecture for now. Spider-Man 2 might receive DLC akin to its predecessor, or Insomniac might prioritize its Wolverine game and the anticipated Spider-Man 3. In the meantime, fans can proceed to download the latest update for the game.
