However, his dire situation took an unexpected turn when a mysterious sorcerer came to his aid, using sheer strength to vanquish one of the assailants. The defeated sorcerer was revealed to be a colonel, causing the other sorcerer to hastily retreat.
As the events unfolded, it was disclosed that this enigmatic savior bore the name Azami and had a connection with Rokuhira. Azami was affiliated with Kamunabi, a group entrusted by the government to eliminate potential threats to the nation. The chapter also sheds light on Shiba’s past involvement with Kamunabi.
Azami relayed to Shiba that the Kamunabi leadership wished to have a conversation regarding Chihiro’s enchanted blade and Char. Furthermore, the chapter unveiled a critical detail: only a select few, Azami included, were aware of the existence of a seventh enchanted blade.
Despite recognizing the potential threat it posed to the nation, Azami refrained from disclosing this information to Kamunabi due to his understanding of Chihiro’s predicament. Nevertheless, he admonished the protagonist for openly wielding the blade.
