On Tuesday, December 26, the official website and X (previously known as Twitter) account for the Ishura anime trailer was unveiled in anticipation of its debut on January 3. In addition to the promotional video, the team also shared a preview still and concise synopsis of the first episode of the anime.
Adapted from the dark fantasy light novel series of the same name by author Keiso and illustrator Kureta, the Ishura anime centers around the conflict among Shuras, recognized as the most formidable beings, emerging in the aftermath of the True Demon King’s demise.
Ishura Anime Trailer Has Been Released
As previously mentioned, the highly awaited Ishura anime unveiled its main promotional video on December 26, paving the way for its premiere on January 3.
The anime is scheduled for weekly release on various channels, including Tokyo MX, BS Nippon TV, Sun TV, KBS Tokyo, and others. For international fans, Disney+ has secured exclusive worldwide streaming rights, allowing them to stream the episodes.
Of particular note, the primary Ishura Anime trailer commences with an intense battle sequence featuring Sojiro Yagyu and Shark Otogiri. The impressive animation quality, complemented by a fitting original soundtrack, effectively establishes the groundwork for an epic confrontation.
Furthermore, the promotional video (PV) depicts other Shuras engaging in confrontations with each other. Similar to the preceding Ishura Anime trailer, this one also showcases a diverse array of characters. Additionally, the brief clip offers a sneak peek at the opening theme, “Shura ni Otoshite,” performed by Sajou no Hana.

Cast & Crew Members
Heading the project, Takao Takahashi serves as the chief director, while Yuki Ogawa takes on the role of director at Passione Studio. Kenta Ihara oversees the scripts, and SANZIGEN is responsible for the CG animation.
Yoko Kikuchi handles the character designs, and Masahiro Tokuda is the composer for the series’ music. The opening song, “Falling into Carnage,” is performed by Sajou no Hana, while Konomi Suzuki lends her vocals to the ending theme, “Hakka” (White Flower).
The Ishura anime boasts an impressive cast, featuring Yuki Kaji in the lead role as Sojiro, and Reina Ueda as Yuno. The cast also includes Jun Fukuyama as Alus the Star Runner, Romi Park as Taren, Akio Otsuka as Harghent, and Soichiro Hoshi as Dakai.
