According to Daniel Castaneda, the Licensing Director at Toei Animation Latin America, the Dragon Ball Daima anime is scheduled for a global web release in October 2024. He also disclosed that the anime has been designed with 20 episodes in mind, and the production for these episodes might be completed by May 2023.
The Licensing Director further explained the typical process of releasing an anime, where it is first launched in Japan, and then a six-month wait ensues before work begins on producing the dubbed versions. This practice hinges on waiting until 26 episodes are available for the dubbing process. However, this time, there’s a distinct approach in mind, as the studio is aiming for a simultaneous global release of the anime.
Following the worldwide release of the anime, slated for October 2024, in both subbed and dubbed versions, there is a high likelihood that it will premiere on free-to-air TV in January 2025.
