Ian Flynn, known for his work on Sonic Frontiers and the comics, also confirmed his involvement in the game’s writing team via Twitter.

The trailer for Sonic Dream Team showcased distinctive robotic Badnik bosses and highlighted the unique abilities of the playable characters, with Rouge demonstrating her aerial flight capability. Following this initial trailer, additional story elements emerged, including Dr. Eggman’s nefarious intentions involving the enigmatic Reverie gemstone.
