On Wednesday, December 13, a preview of the forthcoming Jump GIGA 2024 Winter magazine cover was leaked, almost a week ahead of its release in Japan. Black Clover winter GIGA cover prominently features Asta from Black Clover. The manga chapter is officially scheduled for a global release on Monday, December 25, 2023.
Black Clover, created by Yuki Tabata, is a Japanese shounen manga series that enjoyed serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump from February 2015 to August 2023. Subsequently, the manga announced a shift in its publication venue to Jump GIGA. The inaugural chapter in this new magazine is slated for release in December 2024.
Black Clover Winter GIGA Cover Features Asta
Approximately a week prior to the official release of the Jump GIGA 2024 Winter magazine in Japan, an online leak provided a preview of the magazine cover. It was previously announced that Black Clover would grace the cover and receive several color pages.
The recent leak has now confirmed that Asta, the protagonist of the series, will indeed be featured on the magazine’s cover. The preview displays Asta in his latest attire, wearing a wide grin while pulling out his Demon-Slasher Katana from his distinctive five-leaf grimoire.
In addition to Asta, the magazine cover appears to showcase Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen and Hinata Shouyo from Haikyuu!! Gojo’s inclusion may serve as a tribute following the character’s demise in the manga. On the other hand, Hinata might be featured in anticipation of the upcoming release of Haikyuu!! The movie: The Battle at the Garbage Dump.
With the magazine’s release in Japan just around the corner, fans can anticipate the revelation of spoilers and leaks for chapter 369, a lead color page, a special poster, and stickers.
