Berserk of Gluttony Episode 6: Recap
In the preceding episode, Set successfully revived Fate from sleep induced by a concocted drug, utilizing a herbal antidote. Fate, in turn, showcased newfound skills in Fireball Magic and Fire Resistance while defending their village against Gargoyles. Unfortunately, the village endured significant devastation, resulting in the loss of numerous residents. In response, Set decided to seek employment to provide for his daughter, while Fate embarked on a journey to Galia.
During Fate’s journey, the carriage he was on fell prey to bandits, prompting a sudden and effortless intervention by the enigmatic Galian, known as Myne the Wrath, a possessor of the Deadly Sin skill. Together, Fate and Myne made their way to the town of Lanchester.
In an intriguing revelation, the episode delved into the concept that the Seven Deadly Sins were conceived to challenge and defy God’s principles, with gluttony deemed the most egregious due to its potential to disrupt the divine order of levels. Battling guilt over his continual soul-hunting endeavors, Fate received counsel from Greed, advising him to maintain a state of half-starvation rather than immediately satisfying his gluttony skill.
Exercising restraint, Fate hunted a few sandmen that night. The subsequent day, while claiming his reward, he found himself confronted by Lord Rudolph, who issued a directive for Fate to become his subordinate, leaving no room for refusal. Myne intervened forcefully, causing Fate to flee Lanchester in the face of this unwanted allegiance.
Berserk of Gluttony Episode 7: What To Expect
In the upcoming Berserk of Gluttony Episode 7, titled “The Twilight Swordsman,” Fate and Myne are set to resume their journey towards Galia. However, the duo will find themselves in need of accommodation for a brief period. Along their way, a former Holy Knight will cross their path, bringing forth a proposition for Fate.
